Clark Kent? Superman?

Well, my last post hinted about 'reality setting in' on Thursday. What does that mean you might ask? The astute of you may remember that not only did I leave corporate America in February 2007, but I also left the world of 'coaching full-time' about a month or so ago. Even though I felt like the coaching position that I held was more 'corporate' than corporate America, I rejoined the world of full-time working today.

I'm working at the TCEQ doing some drinking water quality work. It has been something that I've been interested in for quite some time...since I was in middle school I reckon. I can remember doing a 'science fair' project testing the effluents of 2 of the water treatment plants in our hometown. One discharged into Oyster Creek, the other into one of the Bayous near the Lake Jackson Mall. So, it was back to the world of engineering today.

Clark Kent or Superman anyone? I'm not a superhero by any stretch, but they seem to have their dual identities. Captain America maybe? Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde I think not. I tried to get a slideshow to work, but it didn't. So, you have to settle for two images. One in the AM, one in the PM...after I stepped into a phone booth and stepped out as a different person.

Training so far this week is about 8 hours. Most of it pretty solid. I missed a ride yesterday, but that's o.k.

Where did you find a phone booth? I haven't seen one of those in years. Nice jersey though.

Nice pics! Taking off the glasses was a nice touch. It completes the Clark Kent to Superman comparison. :-)

That's great that you are doing drinking water quality work. We all enjoy clean water to drink AND race in.
