HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

For about the 10th year in a row...I didn't make it to midnight to ring in the new year, see the ball drop, or whatever you want to say.

I was fast asleep studying the back of my eyelids. Basically, three days of waking up early to go hunting in the cold, doing one workout a day, and going hunting again, then watching movies with family kept me from...

1 - logging a lot of training though Amy and I did get in a solid 82 miles on Sunday and a solid 5500 LCM swim practice on Saturday.
2 - staying up late enough to say bye to 2007 and hi to 2008.
3 - doing any of the New Years day fun runs on January 1, 2008. Instead we slept in, left my folks late, got to Austin later, did a workout at the gym, and then had the Town lake trail almost to ourselves at 5:15 in the evening.

I hope that 2007 was great for you, and if you ate black eyed peas today...here's hoping that 2008 will be better...even if you didn't eat the peas.
